RJ Jackson is a 16 years old and has Hodgkins Lymphoma, a cancer of the lymph nodes. In January of 2008 he was diagnosed with stage 4B and is currently in his 3rd bout with this terrible cancer. Foundational Christian Beliefs

These impacted me greatly and lots of other people

God created the world --- Genesis 1:1
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
God scripted the Holy Word of God --- 2 Timothy 3:16
All scriptures is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.
Jesus Christ was born of a virgin --- Matthew 1:23
"The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel" --which means, "God with us."  Also noted in Isaiah 7:14
Jesus is the sinless Son of God --- Hebrews 4:15
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are -- yet was without sin.
Salvation is real and found only through Jesus Christ --- Acts 4:12
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
Jesus rose from the dead --- Acts 10:41
He was not seen by all the people, but by witnesses whom God had already chosen -- by us who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.

Prison and Birthdays

I have recently been blessed to be able to read the first few pages out of Carol Kents book Between a Rock and a Grace Place! So far what I had read was very touching and moved me..I could relate to her story because my father had spent time in prison; however, a childs father and a mothers son is two totally different stories. Since her book I have been praying for JP, her son, and wondering how many people stopped talking to him because he gave up his life so that his stepdaughters would never be hurt by their father again. Yesterday was JP's birthday and I was blessed again to be given his address to mail him a birthday card. I got pretty computer paper with designs from the Dollar Store and wrote a birthday letter to him. I was able to spend eight dollars on 20 stamps to send him so he can write his family :) I hope I made a small difference in a strangers life.
Do you know someone in prison or who has been in prison? It can get lonely and very hard...if you would like to know more about Jason Kents story you should read Carol Kents book that I mentioned above :)
Also, if you would like to be able to send JP a birthday letter, card or even some stamps as a late birthday present please let me know and I will get his information to you. Thank-you for making a small difference in a strangers life :)
