BE THE MATCH - RJ Jackson

Be the one to save a life---Be The Match!! (Help RJ Jackson)
RJ Jackson is a 16 years old and has Hodgkins Lymphoma, a cancer of the lymph nodes. In January of 2008 he was diagnosed with stage 4B and is currently in his 3rd bout with this terrible cancer. Doctors say his best chance of overcoming this deadly disease is by having a bone marrow transplant. RJ is a junior at Bob Jones High School in Madison, Alabama. He loves to play video games and spend time with his family and friends. He is an active member of St. Luke M.B. Church.

Did you know? New science allows marrow blood stem cells to be taken from the donors arm by an IV. This is used in 70% of transplants.
Did you know? During traditional marrow donation the bones and spine are not touched at all. The donor feels no pain during the process because anesthesia is used. Marrow is a liquid blood product.
